Corporate Bonds

Corporate Bond spreads are marginally tighter on this final day of the quarter. The focus of many investors is to get in sync with the index and that has generated OWIC and BWIC activity.

New issue activity is also prominent. The French Telecom deal of yesterday priced at 195 and has traded at 175 this morning.

The issue of choice today is the three pronged Oracle deal in 5s,10s and 30s.

Price talk is 125,155,and 180 in chronological order.

One trader wrote that their was no new issue concession in the 5 year but there was 20 basis points in the 10 year and 25 basis points in the 30 year.
