 This story is a bit disturbing for a heavily indebted country such as this one which is so reliant on foreign capital.

I just spotted this one this morning in the FT. It is an insightful treatise on the implications of the Bear Stearns buyouts for the philosophy which has ruled for three decades.

And the same theme from Treasury Secretary Paulson. Maybe the most important factoid here is that the FT opens the story in a very “familiar ” way as it uses the diminuitive form Hank when speaking of Henry Paulson!

And the Times defines the next area of credit problems.
