Meeting at the Treasury

I was away from blogging today because I attended a meeting at the US Treasury Department in Washington with senior Treasury officials and a number of other bloggers including Marginal Revolution, Interfluidity, Kid Dynamite’s World, Naked Capitalism, Financial Armageddon, Accrued Interest, and Aleph. The meeting was very interesting and I’ll post more on it later this evening.  For now, I’m heading home from DC in the Across the Curve company car.

    Is this a joke, or are you serious? Why the Hell would they do this? You’re kind of dovish on .gov, so I can see you as ’safe’, but Michael Panzner??? He must have been ready to rip their heads off! This must be a joke… If not, I can’t wait to see the minutes of this little pump rally!!!

    Congrats, talked to another of those in attendance said that Timmy was quick to shootdown some legitimately good comments/points. Whats your thoughts on efficacy, ie do you think they’ll heed any advice/opinions discussed?
