Help!
February 24th, 2009 11:53 am | by John Jansen |Regular readers know (especially Sharon) that on a daily basis I post Libor levels which a money market trader forwards to me daily.
Sadly, that trader and friend and former colleague will fall victim to the financial meltdown when he leaves work tomorrow.
I have known him for over 20 years and he is a true professional. This blog has achieved a level of success that I never thought possible and in large part it is because of the information that my friend fed to me in the crisis days of last August through November as the financial system was grinding to a halt. Those posts were widely read and widely disseminated and have contributed to the growth and popularity of this blog.
He will be out of work beginning at the close of business tomorrow. If anyone knows of a firm or trading operation that might benefit from the wise counsel and trading acumen of a true professional and a good guy, please let me know and I will connect you with my friend.

Oh John, I’m so very sorry for your friend’s sake. I don’t even know him, but hold him in high esteem, simply because you do. I’m not in the UK yet, (moving to London next month), so I don’t have any contacts.
But I’m sending out good thoughts and vibrations for his safe landing in his chosen profession.
Here’s hoping he finds a position very, very soon!
