Corporates
January 7th, 2009 11:51 am | by John Jansen |Corporate bonds remain firm and in spite of the weakness in the equity market the IG 11 is still 4 basis points tighter on the day.
The new issue calendar is in a quiescent state currently with the only business on the docket is the pricing of the Budweiser deal. It is a three pronged offering on 5 year, 10 year and 30 year bonds. The total issuance is $5billion and the pricing is sometime today.
The high profile deal of yesterday was the GE 30 year which priced at T+ 400. It is currently 395/390.

I know a couple of guys at NISA. Its a good shop. Good luck to you.
Didn’t expect to see TWO other STL guys on here. John, when you look to expand outside of the Across the Curve world headquarters, maybe you should consider an office in the midwest

I actually covered NISA in several of my bond market incarnations and even reincarnations.
